By accessing and using RankMyCv ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

RankMyCv provides:

• Automated resume/CV analysis using AI technology
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring
• Keyword matching and optimization suggestions
• Resume structure and format analysis
• Job description matching capabilities
• Analysis history and tracking

Account Registration:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.1 Pricing and Plans

• Free trial: Limited analyses available
• Credit packages: Pay-per-use analysis credits
• Subscription plans: Monthly or annual recurring billing
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

4.2 Billing and Renewals

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices include applicable taxes where required

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase
• Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

You agree NOT to:

• Upload malicious files or viruses
• Attempt to reverse engineer our AI models
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Share your account credentials with others
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our analysis results at scale
• Abuse the Service with excessive requests or spam
• Upload content that violates third-party rights

6.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to your uploaded resumes and job descriptions
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for analysis
• We do not claim ownership of your personal information

6.2 Our Content

• RankMyCv owns all rights to the platform, algorithms, and analysis outputs
• Our brand, logo, and design are protected trademarks
• You may not reproduce or redistribute our proprietary content

Important disclaimers:

• Our analysis is generated by AI and may contain errors
• Results are suggestions, not guarantees of job placement
• We do not guarantee ATS compatibility for any specific system
• You are responsible for verifying and validating all suggestions
• AI models are continuously improved but may have limitations

RankMyCv is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Job application outcomes or hiring decisions
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated analysis
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data loss (though we implement reasonable safeguards)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or opportunities

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

• We handle your data according to our Privacy Policy
• Uploaded files are deleted after 90 days unless saved
• We use industry-standard encryption and security measures
• We do not sell your personal information
• You can delete your account and data at any time

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update pricing with 30 days advance notice
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service

• We use third-party services (Stripe for payments, cloud storage providers)
• These services have their own terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures
• Integration with external job boards may be subject to their terms

12.1 Governing Law
